PACS Group Buys 34 Skilled Nursing Facilities Across Six States
PACS Group strikes a deal to acquire Eduro Healthcare's 34-facility skilled nursing portfolio spanning Texas, Montana, and four other western states.
PACS Group, Inc. (NYSE: PACS) announced Monday it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the operations of 34 skilled nursing facilities from Eduro Healthcare, a family-owned senior care operator with nearly two decades in the business. The deal spans six western states and marks a significant geographic expansion for the Salt Lake City-based company.
The acquisition covers 22 facilities in Texas, six in Montana, three in South Dakota, and single locations in New Mexico, North Dakota, and Utah. The concentrated Texas footprint gives PACS an immediate large-scale presence in one of the nation's fastest-growing senior population markets, while the northern plains and mountain state sites round out a regionally diverse portfolio.

Eduro Healthcare, which built its portfolio over nearly 20 years as a family-owned operator, is offloading the full slate of operations to PACS. The transaction reflects a broader industry trend of independent and regional skilled nursing operators consolidating under larger, publicly traded platforms that can leverage scale for staffing, technology, and regulatory compliance.
For PACS Group, which has pursued an aggressive acquisition strategy since its NYSE debut, adding 34 facilities in a single deal substantially deepens its operational footprint in the post-acute and long-term care sector. The move positions the company to compete more directly with national skilled nursing giants as demand for senior care beds continues to outpace supply across the Sun Belt and rural West.
